“A journey, after all, neither begins in the instant we set out, nor ends when we have reached our door step once again. It starts much earlier and is really never over, because the film of memory continues running on inside of us long after we have come to a physical standstill. Indeed, there exists something like a contagion of travel, and the disease is essentially incurable.” ― Ryszard Kapuściński, Travels with Herodotus

A Night Out at the Wine Press
Last weekend we experienced all that in the North Haven Wine Press. This place is pretty cool in that you can actually buy in to wine making. For a fee, you and a group of people can produce your very own wine. We didn't sign up so I'm not sure on all the details, but we did get to participate in all the wine making process. We paid $25 a person for a full tasting of all their wines, along with some snacks. It was a great deal! We ate, drank, conversed and even got to bottle our own wine.
They host events periodically, and I'd recommend checking them out. You can visit their Facebook here.
